The Interlocution Workshop will be held at the Department of Linguistics, located in Totem Field Studios on the University of British Columbia campus. The address is 2613 West Mall. Information, including a map, can be found here.

Presenters will be staying at the Vancouver School of Theology's Iona Hotel, also located on the UBC campus. The address is 6000 Iona Drive. The hotel's website can be found here. Your taxi driver will likely know the best way to reach the hotel from the airport, but just in case, directions can be found here.

To get from VST to Totem Fields by foot, walk west on Iona Drive until you reach NW Marine drive, then turn left. Continue walking west on NW Marine Drive until you reach West Mall, and then turn left again. Walk south on West Mall all the way to Totem Fields, a rustic looking building (it used to belong to Faculty of Agricultural Science) which will be on your right. Head through the gates and turn left to reach the door. A Google Maps diagram can be found here. The walk should take approximately 25 minutes, and will give you a chance to take in UBC's beautiful and scenic campus.

There is a shuttle bus, the C20, running along NW Marine drive that can take you from VST to Totem Field Studios. Unfortunately, on weekends the first bus does not leave until 9:15, which makes it useless for the workshop. It is, however, an option on Friday morning, as well as to return to VST from Totem Fields at the end of the day. You would likely spend as much time walking to the bus stop and waiting for the bus as you would simply walking to Totem Field Studios, so bus travel is not recommended. If you want to head out to explore Vancouver, the majority of the buses leaving UBC depart from the bus loop. To get to the bus loop from VST, head east on Iona Drive, turn right on Wesbrook Mall, walk south for a while, and then turn right on Student Union Boulevard. A Google Map can be found here. Bus maps and tickets will be provided to presenters upon arrival at VST. To get to the loop from Totem Field Studios, walk north on West Mall, turn right on Agronomy Road and walk until you reach Wesbrook Mall. Turn left on Wesbrook Mall and walk north until you reach Student Union Boulevard, then turn left again. A Google Map can be found here.
