I have been working as a clinician for the past 14 years, even during my doctorate part time! I have worked predominantly with the following populations: preschool population, school aged, deaf and hard of hearing school children b/t 3 and 21 years.
My current clinical position is at the Provinical Resource Programme for Auditory Outreach (PRP-AO) where I specialise with students with cochlear implants. In this position I am the senior SLP working with students and their educational and health teams across the province to provide the best service possible for school aged children with hearing loss, and trouble shoot difficult cases. In addition, I offer inservice training around the province for professionals and para-professionals.
