My research is focused on Salish languages, particularly SENĆOŦEN (Saanich), and particularly in the areas of morphology and semantics. I am currently a SSHRC funded postdoctoral researcher looking at modality and evidentiality. My MA and PhD work was on aspect (resultative, perfective/imperfective, situation types). After completing my PhD in the Surrey Morphology Group, I continued working there for six months on a database and website of SENĆOŦEN materials. I have also collaborated with Janet Leonard at the University of Victoria on morpho-phonological work.
